Vice President: Cathy Eberle

Cathy’s career as an educational office professional began in 1991 when she was assigned to P.S. 100 in Brooklyn, NY as the Principal’s secretary, and continues in that position today.  Prior to that she was a school aide for almost two years where she gained knowledge of the New York City school system, programs and procedures.  Her involvement with NYSAEOP started when she attended her first Spring Regional in Syracuse, NY and discovered that there are others in this profession who have the same vision = to enhance and improve ourselves both professionally and personally.  Cathy continues to grow also as an active member of the National Association of Education Office Professionals.  Aside from her pride as a NYSAEOP officer, she’s extremely proud to be Bill’s wife and Richard and Doreen’s mom.

Sandy has worked as an administrative assistant for the principal in a middle level school for over 22 years. She received her CEOE in 1996. Sandy feels that professionalism and ACTIVE participation in these professional associations is essential in career and person enhancement of information, recognition, fellowship and service. In her leisure time, she enjoys bird watching while enjoying her back yard. She is passionate about quilting and gardening.

Treasurer: Connie Van Hoesen, CEOE

Connie was first introduced to NYSAEOP in 1998 shortly after re-entering the work force.  The impact of participating and networking with many other professional women across the state was motivation to seek out what all NYSAEOP could offer.  Connie has been a member of her state association since 1999, but also became involved with her local county association, her school local and then the national level by seeking her Professional Standards Program certificate. She has been Secretary for the Churchville Chili Association, Secretary and Vice President of the county association and is currently Treasurer and PSP Liaison for NYSAEOP.  The NAEOP association has provided her with multiple committee opportunities.  On a personal level Connie is married and has three grown daughters and two precious grandchildren.  She has lived in the Finger Lakes Region for most of her life but did spend some time in the Lower Hudson Region and enjoyed a couple of years of working in the “Big Apple” for Mobil Oil Corporation.  The college sweetheart proposed and she moved back to Rochester for a happy 8 year relationship with Eastman Kodak Company.  A unique sub position opened in her local school and provided the motivation to see her return to secretarial work, and the rest is as they say, “history”.
